These plants are part of our 'Home Grown Propagations & Cuttings' collection, please visit this page for more information.

Several propagations/cuttings per pot, new growth coming through (they develop with a lovely red blush when grown in bright light).

Rooting in spaghnum moss in 5.5cm diameter plastic nursery pot. Several plants available. Photographed examples.

The 'Fishbone Cactus' earned its name from its long wiggly stems, also known as the 'Zig Zag cactus'.

This funky little baby plant is the perfect addition to your windowsill collection.

Once the stems grow long enough, they will start to hang down under their own weight. You can thicken the plant out but cutting it back & propagating the stems - your plant will also branch out from wherever you cut it!

Care:

Light: Bright indirect light will promote the best growth. Older plants can withstand direct sunlight.

Water: Only water once the soil is completely dry then give a heavy water. When the leaves wrinkle, that's a sign that it's ready for watering.

Food: Not a requirement but if you choose to; use a light cacti fertiliser.

Humidity: Will thrive in a normal home humidity but will also tolerate dry air.
