The Gymnocalycium 'Spider Cactus' or 'Chin Cactus' is a bulbous genus of cactus with other 70 species originally from Paraguay, during the summer months they produce large colourful flowers.
Care:
Light: Bright indirect light will promote the best growth. Older plants can withstand direct sunlight.
Water: Only water once the soil is completely dry then give a heavy water.
Food: Not a requirement but if you choose to; use a light cacti fertiliser.
Humidity: Is happy with normal home humidity but will also tolerate dry air.
Quick tip: The more light they are exposed to, the more they will blush in that lovely deep purple colour.
