Grown from my own personal collection, 12cm pots with 4 plants in, singular 10cm pots & singular 6cm pots (pot sizes may vary by 1cm larger or smaller).

The last photo shows the growth of a 6cm pot after 8 - 10 months.

This plant is practically indestructible and can survive long periods of drought (although it does prefer a regular watering!). I personally take care of my Mother Of Thousands by giving them a generous soaking until I see the water come out of the bottom of the pot and then allowing them to dry out. I find this is the best way to deter any kind of pests or disease from taking up residence in the soil.

These guys are growing bigger by the day and the stripes on the underside of their leaves are getting more defined and vibrant, eventually they can grow to over three foot tall. What is so special about this plant is what gives it it's name, it produces plantlets along the edge of its leaves which grow their own roots and eventually drop off to grow a new plant in the soil below - meaning your one plant can grow an abundance of new plants which you can keep or share with your friends! These plants are already growing their own plantlets.

Care:

Light: This plant thrive in bright light, but will also tolerate and grow in lower light conditions.

Water: Allow the top half of soil to dry out before watering during growing months. During the winter reduce watering considerably. Can withstand considerable periods of drought.

Food: During growing months apply a weak fertiliser once a month.

Humidity: Will tolerate a normal household humidity.

Satisfied customer

I've had a really hard time finding this type of plant in the UK. I was pleased to find one for sale finally, and the plant was larger than I'd expected. Plant was well-packaged and perked up again in a couple days - satisfied customer.
