This Philodendron packs a punch! With new leaves developing in a neon yellow colour, even as a baby this plant will stand out among your other houseplants.
The Philodendron Bipennifolium 'Golden Violin’ is relatively easy-care, like most Philodendron, but would prefer to be kept in bright indirect light to promote the boldestyellow colour.
Care:
Light: Tolerant of low light to bright indirect light but grows best in a medium light for the largest leaves with the best colours.
Water: Tolerant to inconsistent watering. Prefers to dry out slightly between waterings, water when the top third of the soil dries out or when you see the leaves starting to droop. For best results water from underneath with the use of a saucer to reduce the chance of root rot. Reduce watering during winter months.
Food: Feed 2 - 3 times during the growing season but not during winter.
Humidity: High humidity will produce a happier plant but will tolerate a normal household humidity.
