2 Philodendron Brandtianum cuttings rooted in sphagnum moss in an 6cm diameter pot. We encourage keeping this plant in a high humidity environment as it grows.
The Brandtianum (Silver Leaf Philodendron) is an uncommon type of Philodendron with small heart shaped leaves, if you encourage it to climb up a pole or trellis you will promote faster growth and larger leaves! A really spectacular plant to add to your collection if you're a fan of silvery leaves and Philodendron.
Care:
Light: Tolerant of medium light to bright indirect light, however too much light can cause brown, crispy tips on the leaves.
Water: Keep the soil moist at all times, water when the top ⅓ portion of soil dries out. For best results water from underneath with the use of a saucer to reduce the chance of root rot. Reduce watering during winter months and allow the plant to dry out more.
Food: Feed monthly during the growing season but not during winter.
Humidity: High humidity will produce a happier plant. A low humidity will cause brown, crispy tips on the leaves and can stop the leaves from unfurling properly.
