These plants are part of our 'Home Grown Propagations & Cuttings' collection, please visit this page for more information.
As photographed. One rooted cutting actively producing new growth. Rooted in spaghnum moss in a 8cm diameter nursery pot - lots of potential for a quick growing specimen which will size up in no time.
The mother plant was sold to us labelled as Plowmanii by the grower but we believe it may actually be a Mamei instead as the two are often mixed up.
Care:
Light: Tolerant of medium light to bright indirect light, however too much light can cause brown, crispy tips on the leaves.
Water: This plant likes to be moist but doesn’t want its roots to be constantly wet. Water when the top half portion of soil dries out. For best results water from underneath with the use of a saucer to reduce the chance of root rot. Reduce watering during winter months.
Food: Feed fortnightly during the growing season but not during winter.
Humidity: High humidity will produce a happier plant but will tolerate a normal household humidity. A low humidity will cause brown, crispy tips on the leaves.
