It’s hard to miss the vibrant yellow of the Neon Pothos as it grabs your attention from across the room. While it looks like it has appeared from a tropical alien planet, it has a surprisingly chill approach to life and will happily sit in a darker corner and deal with moderate amounts of neglect. Whether you are an expert or complete beginner the Neon Pothos is a staple for your collection (& will be sure to make you look like a seasoned professional to your friends!).

A hardy houseplant which grows new leaves regularly in the growing season, you can leave its vines to grow long and hang (which looks especially great in a basket up high) or you can train them to climb up a stake, trellis or moss pole.

It’s popularity is largely down to how low maintenance this plant is and how little effort you need to put in for the reward of a flourishing plant. The Neon Pothos is not demanding of water and actually prefers to be allowed to dry out a little & even under low light conditions this plant will retain its striking colour.

If all that wasn't enough to convince you that this is the plant for you, it even has strong air purifying abilities!

You may also know this plant as Devils Ivy, Ivy Arum and Ceylon Creeper.

Care:

Light: This plant thrives in a medium level of light, too much light may cause the plant to burn but a low level of light will stunt growth.

Water: This plant is relatively drought tolerant, water when the top 2/3 of the soil is dry. Inconsistent watering can lead to brown patches. Allow to dry out more thoroughly in the cooler months.

Feed: During growing months apply a weak fertiliser once a month.

Humidity: Will tolerate a normal household humidity however for increased growth and bigger leaves an increased humidity will be ideal.
