Pot size (diameter): 6 cm, Approx Height: 12 cm.

Supplied in a plastic pot. Fits our Boule mini plant pot, Dobra Metal Plant Potmini St Tropez plant pot, Waves Pot and Happy Face Pink Plant Pot.

The Begonia 'Black Jungle' has gorgeous deep black leaves with hints of green. A real stunner that can make a big impact even at this small size.

Please be aware that Begonia have delicate leaves which are prone to some damage during transit, but don't worry you can easily propagate any lost leaves to make more plants and have fresh growth in no time.

Depending on the season and how long the plants have been in our care. Leaves often appear more of a dark orange, brighter lighting conditions and more mature growth will develop in the bright orange photographed here.

Begonia like to be kept moist and treated to a regular misting. They thrive in high humidity and can end up with crispy leaves without it. Allow the top of the soil to be touch dry before thoroughly watering your plant.

You can increase the humidity around a plant by placing a tray full of pebbles underneath your plant pot and filling it with water, so that it isn’t touching the bottom of the plant pot. The water will slowly evaporate and create humidity for your plant. You could also buy a humidifier.

Alternatively, keep in your bathroom near a window and the steam from your morning shower will keep the humidity levels high enough for your begonia to thrive.

Care:

Light: Use a filtered/indirect light to ensure your plant keeps its gorgeous bold colours.

Water: Keep soil moist but do not let it sit in water.

Food: Feed monthly during the growing season.

Humidity: These plants need a high humidity to keep the leaves from crisping and to promote growth. Use the pebble tray method or mist but ideally place close by to a humidifier.
