Exact plant photographed - original cutting taken from my large mother plant which I have had for 3 years. Rooting in soil in a 8cm diameter nursery pot. New growth just emerged!
A really strong and fast growing specimen.
Get this lady checked off your wish list, you won't be disappointed! The 'Painted Lady' is a climbing plant and will naturally try to grow upwards, try giving it a moss pole or trellis to encourage bigger leaves and faster growth.
Care:
Light: Tolerant of medium light to bright indirect light, however too much light can cause brown, crispy tips on the leaves.
Water: Water when the top 2 thirds of the soil dry out. For best results water from underneath with the use of a saucer to reduce the chance of root rot. Reduce watering during winter months. In winter allow to dry out further.
Food: Feed fortnightly during the growing season but not during winter.
Humidity: High humidity will produce a happier plant but will tolerate a normal household humidity. A low humidity will cause brown, crispy tips on the leaves.
