The Bright Star really lives up to its name with an iridescent silver stripe running down the middle of its leaves. This unusual houseplant has soft leathery leaves with wavy edges which rapidly sprawls just as wide as it is tall.
You can easily propagate your Bright Star by separating one of the pups from the main plant, making this plant a fine addition to your collection and maybe also your friends!
Light: Bright indirect light will produce the biggest and most colourful leaves, will also tolerate a medium light.
Water: Make sure that your Bright Stars soil remains damp so the tips of the leaves do not turn brown, allow the top soil to dry.
Food: During growing season feed twice monthly.
Humidity: Higher humidity is best, low humidity can cause the leaf tips to turn crispy. We recommend using the pebble tray method or mist but ideally place close by to a humidifier.
