Opuntia or ‘Prickly Pear Cactus’ are characterised by their wide and flat pads which grow out from the top of the cacti. Also known as the ‘Bunny Ear Cactus’.
The Opuntia Microdasys Inermis has particularly cartoonish characteristics with large oval pads. Unlike other Opuntia Microdasys, the 'Inermis' is known for having minimal amounts of spines, giving it a flatter, smooth appearance.
Care:
Light: Bright indirect light will promote the best growth. Older plants can withstand direct sunlight.
Water: Only water once the soil is completely dry then give a heavy water.
Food: Not a requirement but if you choose to; use a light cacti fertiliser.
Humidity: Will thrive in a normal home humidity but will also tolerate dry air.
