Not actually part of the Begonia family, the 'Strawberry Begonia' earned its nickname because it looks similar to a Begonia and produces runners which develop smaller plants - like a Strawberry plant. It is also referred to as the 'Strawberry Geranium' because it appearance also resembles a Geranium plant.
You can remove the small plantlets that grow at the bottom of the runners and propagate them to produce more Saxifraga.
